Happy Halloween๐, dear readers!
Today, as we embrace the spooky and fun traditions of Halloween, we'd like to share a little piece of our cultural heritage. You see, we're proud to be Mexican, and alongside Halloween, we also celebrate "Dรญa de Muertos"๐ - the Day of the Dead.
So lets celebrate both!!๐๐๐
Dรญa de Muertos is a vibrant and heartfelt Mexican holiday that honors and remembers our dearly departed loved ones. It's a time when we create colorful ofrendas (altars), light candles, and decorate sugar skulls to pay tribute to those who have left this world. It's a beautiful blend of tradition, love, and remembrance, and for 3 years I have had someone very special whom I honor and who is my number one on my altar. (In the next post I will try to put pictures of both celebrations)
But in the meantime, these pictures are from Google
We hope you enjoy this special blend of traditions and, no matter how you're celebrating today, may it be filled with joy, love, and a touch of magic!
